Frequently Asked Questions

If you have specific questions, please use the form above.

Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7

Do you believe in Christ?
Yes.  We understand Christ to be “the divine manifestation of God, which comes to the flesh to destroy incarnate error.”  Jesus demonstrated for all mankind that he was the Christ of God.
Is this Scientology?
No.   Christian Science has no connection at all with Scientology.  Christian Science is a Bible-based, Protestant denomination founded by Mary Baker Eddy.  The book written by Mrs. Eddy in 1875 called “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” explains in detail what Christian Science is and is not.
Why is it called “Science”? Aren’t Christianity and Science opposites?
Science is “systematized knowledge as an object of study” according to the Webster dictionary.  It simply means “knowledge” about a specific topic.  Christian Science is the knowledge and understanding of Christianity.  It is the understanding of the laws of God and how these spiritual laws were demonstrated by Christ Jesus in overcoming material “laws”.  God’s spiritual laws are eternal and operative; therefore, students of Christian Science strive to put these spiritual laws (or truths) into practice in their daily lives as Jesus did.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Luke 2:14

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:32

Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:32
